What is a natural pool or swimming pond?

What is a natural swimming pool? Is there really such a thing as a chemical free pool? CM Custom Pool Designs can build a pool that is not only naturally beautiful, but able to sustain plant life as well. Utilizing the technology of BioNova Natural Pool, CM Custom Pools can build you an aquatic paradise in which you will swim and relax with nature.

The concept of the natural swimming pond is fairly new to Florida. Because we stay abreast of cutting edge developments in our industry and are sensitive to environmental issues, CM Custom Pools is excited to offer this option. The possibilities for a design such as this for your backyard boggle the imagination and we are more than happy to consult with you when considering your very own natural pool.

For a portfolio of natural pools, please see the BioNova gallery pages.

  2. Natural pools are disgusting! Over time the amount of algae buildup will be more than its worth. I know because my parents used to have one. Cleaning was a horrible having to remove all the rock and draining the pool.

  3. Nice to see that the 2 comments above me are exercising their competition skills. Sheesh. One thing I've noticed on this is, no one brought up an argument on how costly and how tedious the maintenance would be. But you won't know for sure unless you have one installed. Which would be kind of surprising that someone would install this in their home and not have the backing funds to maintain it. I mean come on! It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that even with a normal pool, you'd still have to endure costs and labor in order to maintain it. I'm still pondering on the notion of getting a Natural Swimming Pool, but that decision would solely depend on the whether or not it would be worth the dough that will be spent on it over the years.
